What we Do Best

We help to eliminate the feast and famine cycle of businesses!

Welcome to The Business Marketing Gym

The Gym Concept

Many people join gyms. They usually want similar things.  They want to get fit or lose weight. Some are there to meet people. Everyone joins with good intentions. They are going to go every day or at least three times a week. They are going to work out at least an hour a day.

Maybe this sounds familiar to you; you go for the first two weeks, and then you overdo it. Next thing you know, you are sore and don’t go for a while. Now you are out of the habit, and the memory of the pain is still too strong. Alas, a month goes by, and the gym is just a faded memory.

What causes one to succeed while another to give up? I believe it’s all in the approach.

To succeed in a gym:

Z

Make a decision

Be sure you are serious and set clear, obtainable goals. This will keep you focused. This will help on those days when you don’t want to work out.

Get a Coach/Trainer

Once you have made a decision and created some goals, you need someone to show you the ropes.  They will teach you the machines, equipment, and exercises.  They might guide you on some pitfalls both mentally and physically.  They will help you develop a plan to match your goals and tweak the plan as you start to achieve those goals.

h

Set a schedule and work the plan

The key to sustainable achievement is consistent effort. It’s more important to do a little each day than to do it all in one day and take a break the rest of the week.

Get a support group

Those who are truly successful will usually say they owe their success to their workout buddies.  At a gym, you will find a group of people that support each other as well as push each other to new heights. They also help when the day is not so great.

Check-in and adjust

It is important to track your progress and then adjust when needed. Some people may have a goal for endurance if they are training for a marathon. Another goal might be to lose weight. Once they lose weight, they might want to tone their bodies. Each will be achieved by doing different activities.

So what does this all have to do with marketing?

Well, if you take the same principles, you will see it matches perfectly.

The Business Gym Concept

Keep in mind why the feast or famine cycle typically happens. Just like a gym, we have great intentions to market. We start strong. We send out letters, make calls, network like crazy, and yes, even cold calls. Then low and behold, we get busy. Yeah! Next thing we know, we are so busy we don’t have time to count the money as we put it in the bank (if you are lucky). Then what I have found happens is due to the “busy-ness” factor of your schedule, the marketing activities tend to slow down. In fact, I would venture to say they may even stop altogether. After all, how could you manage another project right now?

One day, you come into the office and realize the work is done and there is no more work in the pipeline. Hmm, why did this happen? That is the effect of no marketing during busy times. That is why Lia Allen created the Business Marketing Gym.

Here is how to succeed in business marketing gym:

Z

Make a decision

Some businesses will grow with little or no effort for a while. But, for a sustainable business, it requires a decision. First, you need to know what you want to accomplish, and then you have to commit: money, time, and effort to make it happen. The “Flying by the seat of the pants” method of running a business is not a good long-term strategy.

Get a Coach/Trainer

You have decided, start with some goals, you need someone to show you the ropes. It is critical to know where you are in your business and then know where you are going.

                                    • Who are you serving?
                                    • What do you do for them?
                                    • How do you serve them?
                                  • The trainer/coach will teach you the most effective way to achieve your goals.

Set a schedule and work the plan

The key to sustainable achievement is consistent effort. It’s more important to do a little each day than to do it all in one day and take a break the rest of the week.  A more effective plan is to market 10 to 15 minutes a day, whether you are busy or not.  This will allow for a more steady flow of business.

Get a support group

Those who are truly successful will usually say they owe their success to their support group.

At the Business Marketing Gym, you will find a group of people that support each other as well as push each other to new heights.  They also help when things are not going so well. As it relates to marketing your business, the creative energy of a group is clearly the key to success. Napoleon Hill speaks of Mastermind groups in his book Think and Grow Rich.

When people get together to help each other achieve new heights, you will be amazed at the accelerated growth they experience. Usually, in the process, they become loyal customers of each other as well.

Check-in and adjust

It is important to track your progress and then adjust when needed.

Participants will achieve their goals by doing different activities.

In marketing, there are key areas of the marketing process with specific activities to achieve specific goals. As you move through your cycles, you have to adjust your plans.

Well, if you take the same principles, you will see it matches perfectly.

So you see, a Business Marketing Gym is clearly the way to go.

They find it hard to plan. They wind up with resource issues which include lack of money, time, and material.

One week they may be working overtime. The next week they are worried about layoffs.

Why does that happen?

Can it be avoided?

By implementing a consistent approach to marketing your business and services, you will realize a more consistent and predictable business flow.

That is why Lia created this Business Marketing Gym.

Join us to learn how to work your marketing muscles! You will learn simple things you can do every day to market your business.
